Tha Spot Dance Centre

Tha Spot Dance Centre hosts a variety of programs for both recreational and competitive dancers. Recreational classes are fun and challenging and dancers find it a rewarding way to meet new friends. Recreational classes are offered at all age levels in all dance forms. All recreational students perform a routine choreographed by their teachers in our year- end recital. This recital gives them a chance to perform on stage with music, lights and costumes.

Tha Spot’s competitive dancers enter a variety of competitions throughout the year. They are entered in various categories ranging from solos, duets, trios, groups and productions in jazz, tap, ballet, hip hop, acro, modern and musical theatre. Tha Spot dancers have won many awards in the competitions they have competed in since opening.

Dancers at Tha Spot have performed at many shows/venues and have appeared in television/movies including the Pop It Kids, Corso Italia Festival, Summer Rush, the Bell Mobility Gala, Portugal Day at Bellwood’s Park, Canada’s Wonderland and a tap performance on The “Bravo” Network to name just a few.

Tha Spot’s goal is to inspire every student to work towards building strong technique and style, to have confidence in themselves, to bring out the best in every dancer!
